MyProGuide CO., LTD. (MyProGuide, we, us, our) provides its services (described below) to you through its website located at www.myproguidetourtw.com (the “Site”) and through its mobile applications and related services. By using the Site, you agree to follow all the policies outlined below.


Definitions
  • Tour Guide (TG): An individual qualified by the government with a license.
  • Guidance: Tour experience provided by a TG.
  • Travelers: Anyone who has a demand for traveling.
  • Spot tour: Guidance at one sightseeing location provided by a TG.


MyProGuide Introduction

MyProGuide provides a platform for independent travelers to find qualified guides to lead them in various places and experience in-depth tours. With our professional TGs, the safety of tours in unfamiliar countries is greatly improved. MyProGuide allows TGs to customize their services, ensuring travelers have fun and exciting tour experiences.


Platform Service

MyProGuide is an e-commerce service platform offering single-spot tour online booking services. MyProGuide does not interfere with the services provided by guides but supervises them to ensure quality.


MyProGuide accepts only qualified TGs who hold licenses approved by the government or MyProGuide worldwide. All TGs providing tours on our website are carefully verified and evaluated by MyProGuide.


A site viewer can make a payment and complete an order once they understand the tour details and decide to book it.


If all members follow MyProGuide’s rules, as a platform provider, we will not interfere with any parties in service content posted on the platform.


All users must agree to and abide by the rules in this contract before posting anything or using any service on MyProGuide.com.


Services Provided
  1. Join Tour: Join other travelers on a journey led by a guide or driver.
  2. Private Tour: Travel as a group with a dedicated guide or driver.
  3. Customized Tour: Tailored travel services according to your specific needs.
  4. Online Tour: Guides introduce attractions via video call from another part of the world.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

When a tour is listed on our website, it includes detailed information about available times for travelers to choose from. Travelers should select a time that best suits their schedule and confirm the booking by making a payment.


While we provide clear information for travelers to make informed decisions, unforeseen circumstances may arise, necessitating cancellation. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • 30+ days notice: Full refund minus administrative and necessary expenses.
  • 21-30 days notice: 10% fee.
  • 11-20 days notice: 30% fee.
  • 4-10 days notice: 50% fee.
  • 1-3 days notice: 70% fee.
  • Day of/start date or later: 100% fee (no refund).
  • Extra Compensation: If actual losses exceed these rates, MyProGuide may claim the difference with proof.


Due to force majeure, a 100% refund will be provided. (Force Majeure includes: war, riots, fire, flood, hurricane, typhoon, earthquake, lightning, explosion, strikes, lockouts, prolonged shortage of energy supplies, and acts of state or governmental action prohibiting or impeding any party from performing its respective obligations under the contract.)


Please note that cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the product. The specific policy for each product will be detailed on the product page.


Payment Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • PayPal: Contact our customer support team at contact@myproguide.com and provide the necessary booking details. Refunds will be credited back to your PayPal account within 30 business days from the date of approval.
  • Credit Card: Contact our customer support team at contact@myproguide.com and provide the necessary booking details. Refunds will be issued to the same credit card within 7-14 business days from the date of approval.
  • Third-Party Payment: Contact our customer support team at contact@myproguide.com and provide the necessary booking details. Refunds will be processed through the third-party payment service within 7-14 business days from the date of approval, subject to their policies.


MyProGuide reserves the right to modify or update this Payment Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the revised policy will be effective immediately upon posting.


Risk

All tour details will be clearly described by the TG. Travelers need to assess and understand the potential risks before completing the order. Risks include death, bodily injury, mental harm, financial loss, or other property damage.


Prohibitions and Warnings

To protect the safety of TGs and travelers and the security of private documents and contact details, MyProGuide prohibits any contact outside the platform. Please follow this rule to ensure your safety during a tour.


According to Republic of China tourism policy, TGs are not allowed to plan accommodations, transportation, or tours of more than two spots. If TGs or travelers violate local government provisions, MyProGuide will cooperate with relevant authorities to investigate and provide necessary documents. Subsequent legal responsibility will be borne by the TG or travelers.


User Privacy

To ensure a fair and trustworthy platform and guarantee user safety, MyProGuide requires TGs and travelers to provide basic personal information to set up individual accounts.

TGs and travelers must fill in their personal information (including name, identification number, phone number, address, email, emergency contact, etc.) on MyProGuide’s registration form. MyProGuide guarantees the privacy of all personal information and will not disclose it to any third party.

All personal information will be stored securely for seven years. MyProGuide will follow local regulations to ensure no violations of laws and regulations.


User Compliance Obligations and Commitments

When using this platform, you must abide by relevant laws and regulations and not engage in illegal activities or any infringement.

Any posts uploaded, information published, or data transmitted by TGs and travelers must not violate the rights of others or public order and peace.

All information provided by TGs or travelers must be true, and they should avoid any possibility of attracting crime.


Termination of Service

Users can use this site by following MyProGuide’s terms and policies.

MyProGuide has the right to cancel, stop, or resolve any source and factors affecting the operation of the platform to ensure continuity of operation.

If a user violates the policies and affects the site’s operation, MyProGuide can suspend their usage rights temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity.


Others

Any other conditions or policies not mentioned above should be followed by Taiwan’s law.
